Noiduin is a Finnish dark folk music group. The band originated in Kankaanpää in 2020 as the solo project of founding member Jemina Kärvi, and later expanded with additional members for live performances. Noiduin’s music draws inspiration from Finnish mythology and folklore, with songs often based on ancient Finnish incantation poems. The group’s unique soundscape is created using self-built traditional instruments such as the jouhikko, kantele, and frame drums, which together create an otherwordly atmosphere. Noiduin is currently based in Pori, Finland.[1]
